Following on from the new forum we’ve now set up a brand new gallery where we’ll be showing off cool instruments, workshops, work in progress, tools and other stuff. If anyone out there has any photographs of instruments or workshops that they want to share with other iLuthier visitors then please don’t hesitate to drop us a line via our contact page. In fact even if you want to write an article or a profile about yourself or another instrument maker then let us know and we’ll work out how to organize it. We aim to make this site one of the best archives of knowledge for makers, and potential makers, all around the world so any submissions will be gratefully accepted.

At the moment we’re still organizing our backlog of articles, tips and methods of work, as well as scouring the internet for any new items or links that we can find. While we try to make an effort to ask people for various items it’s not always possible to track them down, so if we have something of yours up here on the iLuthier site and you’re not too happy about it then please let us know - again via the contact page - and we’ll remove the item for you. If you feel though that you can use the extra publicity, linkage etc. then drop us a line and let us know that it’s OK to feature your stuff. We try to be fair about things but it’s always difficult to keep track of various web resources due to the fact that new ones appear and disappear every day. In short we try to have at least something a little substantial on the iLuthier site. If you believe we’ve overstepped the line then please let us know.

But back to the new gallery….

For the time being we only have a nice collection of lutherie planes up on the gallery but, hopefully, there will be much more stuff to come soon. We’ve got some interesting things in the pipeline so until then, stay tuned!
