Rosewood - Brazilian (Dalbergia nigra)
Other common names: Rio rosewood, palisander. It should be noted that the name &#8220;palisander&#8221; is often given to species other than Dalbergia when the wood resembles real Brazilian rosewood in appearance. Brazilian rosewood should not be confused with Indian rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia).
